Be it a theatre, cinema or gallery, Bilderwerfer also let the spaces perform they´re performing in , dancing within walls of words , the whole urban surrounding serves as a set, xyz-group from Bratislava making miniature replica of the dancers bodies and all, audience included are moving: enbetween.
The performance is basing on an interaction of performer and choreografer Daniel Aschwanden + the performers of the former Bilderwerfer group – Elisabeth Löffler, Cornelia Scheuer and Christian Polster with the slovak experimental sculpturegroup xyz consisting of Matej Gavula and Milan Tittel.
In a shared process along the realisation of a concept by Daniel Aschwanden a hybrid “rhizome” is produced playing with and putting itself in relation to different grammars of media. A testing ground being built around expressions like “body”, “gesture”, “pathos” and spaces as representation machines.
the(art)body is always also the one that it is being perceived as, the body is written -into more or less conscious discourses; basically the body is a construction.
Via recorded and displayed talks with theoreticians as well as with members of the audience these discourses are being captured and streamed back into the performative happening as an audio-visual archive being triggered within an interacitve setting. In the course of this, videoprojections are layered on top of the dancing , moving and standing bodies “real action”as well as their sculptural- and media-representations. Gestures are produced on a physical and on a language (of media) level.
SPACED OUT 0.1 in its hybridity is constructing spaces of difference. Spaces of difference to be experienced through the senses between deconstructions of classical space and mediaformulas.
SPACED OUT 0.1 is playing with the mediaspecific contexts of the locations: theatre, cinema, gallery, studiohall, focusing on or relating to the specific gaze of the involved media.
Four spaces are being played in simultaneously, but also the urban environment enclosing them :

Gallery: Passagengalerie (Künstlerhaus)
Studiohall: Tanzquartier Wien, Studio 2
Audience as well as performers are circulating between the involved rooms during the whole time of the performance, the performers occasionally also taking on the role of (city) guides for their spectators.
